GOT SIM Tech Meeting Keynote Review

*UPDATE: Part 3 Added*

Posting the video review of my slides from the keynote presentation at last month’s Gathering of Technicians Meeting in Las Vegas.

The presentation was entitled “Gathering Ace Technicians for the Jack of All Tradeshows!”.  In these videos I talk about:

Sponsored Content:

  • Where simulation technicians come from
  • The unique perspectives and resources each tech has to help their community.
  • The Current (but limited) resources for techs.
  • The call to create more support for sim techs.
  • Survey results from the attendees about background experience, responsibilities, salaries and more.

Hi Lance. I enjoyed watching the video summary of your keynote presentation. I smiled as you were giving your data regarding technician backgrounds and experience. Like many of your respondents, I myself have a degree in Information Technology, but no formal medical training (although I have provided IT support in a hospital environment). This job is one of those that I just “fell into”, but I’m glad I did. I’m looking forward to viewing part 3 of the video and future posts on the site.
    Keep up the good work!
