Day one of the conference is described as the inaugural day. The inaugural day one of SIMPACT sets the stage for an immersive journey into the world of healthcare simulation. Attendees are greeted with registrations, which marks the start of a transformative experience. From there, participants have the opportunity to engage in a myriad of pre conference workshops held concurrently in Karachi and Nairobi, which cover a number of healthcare simulation topics.

Conference Workshops Delve into Specialties Such as:

  • Resuscitation of Newborns: Insights and Intervention for Survival
  • Workshop on Perimortem Cesarean Section
  • From Theory to Practice: Build Confidence in Pediatric Procedures
  • Cardiac Simulation Workshop
  • Workshop on Fidelity and Moulage
  • Interprofessional Simulation Workshop
  • Essentials of Laparoscopic Skills
  • Management of Common Dermatological Disorders in a Primary Care Setup
  • Code Sepsis: A hands-on approach to save lives
  • All the briefs: Pre-brief, Debrief and Meta Debrief
  • Research and Publication: The Essentials offers hands-on learning experiences facilitated by renowned experts in their respective fields.

To build on the success of the 2023 Healthcare Simulation Week, SIMPACT is introducing an educational highlight of an Escape Room this year. Designed by a team of seasoned educators and technical specialists, this simulated team challenge environment tests the skills of healthcare professionals under pressure and fosters critical thinking, teamwork, and problem solving abilities.
