Body Interact is a dynamic virtual patient simulator with a physiological algorithm that enables users to observe and understand how their decisions have an impact on the patient’s health condition, in real-time. It is easy to use and very intuitive, offering a range of difficulty levels and complexity. Therefore, Body Interact serves different schools of healthcare professions – Medical, Nursing, EMS, High Schools. But how can you engage your students if they are locked at home? If the clinical rotations have been suspended?
In this session, the Body Interact team will present ways to explore the virtual patient simulator with your students in class and remotely.

Maria has completed her MSc International Health Management at Imperial College Business School in The United Kingdom, in 2017. Before that, Maria has obtained her BSc in Nursing from Catholic University of Portugal – ranked 1st in Portugal by the World University rankings. Maria has always been a patient safety advocate and since the beginning of her career her work has been towards the provision of high quality care in the Health sector. Maria has developed a particular interest in healthcare innovation, and its use towards clinical education. Maria is currently Clinical Education Advisor at Body Interact Inc, and member of the initiative European Health Parliament 5th ed. and Health Parliament Portugal 2nd ed.
