Presented by: Tom Cox EMT-P (ret.)
EMS agencies are facing increasing difficulties carrying out hands-on simulation training for continuing education in the absence of classrooms and with limited person-to-person contact. When you consider the additional pressure of budget cuts and shortfalls, EMS leaders are scrambling to do more with less.
Industry trainer and retired EMT-P Tom Cox discusses how advancements in technology have allowed agencies to pivot from standard simulation training to virtual, immersive training with the help of applications like VRpatients. In this webinar, Tom will demonstrate how EMS leaders can easily create clinical case scenarios to reinforce new skills or recreate a rare occurrence and objectively assess a user’s performance. Lastly, he will address how immersive technologies are helping agencies get around budget shortfalls and available funding options you may not know about.
