DxR Nursing SELECT is a set of virtual patient case studies built around the Nursing Process of Assessment, Diagnosis, Care Planning, and Outcomes Evaluation. DxR Nursing SELECT tracks with the Clinical Judgment Model, as well. This presentation introduces the DxR Nursing SELECT virtual patient cases, and demonstrates how the system can be used for in-person teaching, individual and group assignments, distance learning, and making up missed clinical hours. Participants will hear how DxR Nursing SELECT meshes with the needs of post-pandemic instruction. Finally, the NextGen NCLEX will include questions based on ‘nursing scenarios’. DxR Nursing SELECT virtual patient cases are nursing scenarios, ready for students to practice and improve their knowledge, experience, and skills.
Gary Hart has been with DxR Development Group, Inc., for 25 years. He has been involved in all aspects of designing, producing, and demonstrating online medical education products.
