This CE presentation will explore strategies to improve clinical teaching for healthcare students by scaffolding the learning opportunities into the clinical education curriculum.
Teresa Gore received her PhD in Adult Education from Auburn University in 2014. She received a DNP along with Family Nurse Practitioner post-MSN certificate from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2009 and a MSN in Nursing Education from the University of Phoenix. Dr. Gore is recognized as an international healthcare simulation expert and a past President of INACSL. She is a Fellow in the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (FSSH), a certified healthcare simulation advanced (CHSE-A), and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN). She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Gore has taught undergraduate and graduate nursing courses since 2003 at multiple institutions. She is a Professor and Director of Teaching and Learning at Nova Southeastern University and Content Manager at HealthySimulation.com. Dr. Gore is a Past-President of INACSL. She has numerous publications and international/national presentations on healthcare simulation topics.
