The Training & Simulation Coordinator is responsible for coordinating GME program-wide training for residents, designing and coordinating simulation sessions at Virginia Mason and coordinating medical student and visiting rotators "on and off-boarding" flows of work. Additionally, this job partners with faculty to design excellent training and simulation programs and manages and oversees training & simulation operations as directed by Simulation Medical Director and Director of Graduate Medical Education (GME) Administration.

  • Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience required.
  • Two years training delivery or design experience including designing training sessions and developing curricula as well as independent coordination of simulation scenarios.
  • Strong skills in autonomously prioritizing and coordinating projects with demonstrated ability to use discretion and attend to detail.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills required.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred. Clinical experience preferred. Strong technical and computer skills preferred.
