Job Summary and Qualifications
The Simulation Coordinator is an essential role to coordinate and facilitate clinical simulation within the South Atlantic Division HCA Healthcare Center for Clinical Advancement.
What you will do in this role:
This position is responsible for the simulation request consultation, assessment, analysis, and scenario development.
This position will also perform simulation coordination including pre-briefing, operating the computer, manikin, simulation lab equipment and audio-video (AV) technology, debriefing, and evaluation.
The coordinator is also responsible for maintaining equipment, report broken or mal-functioning equipment to the Simulation Director, and submitting a final evaluation summary of each event to the Simulation Director.
Travel to various Division simulation & facility sites as needed.
What qualifications you will need:
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Bachelors Degree required
2+ years of simulation experience required
3+ years of acute care experience preferred
