This Patient Simulation Technician position is a full-time career service position. The Patient Simulation Technician will provide technical support of high-fidelity simulators and associated audio-visual and recording systems; coordinate and schedule repair of equipment; perform general equipment maintenance; manage databases; work with software to support simulators; troubleshoot problems with simulators, computer interfaces, and audio-visual equipment; record simulation sessions and appropriately store and organize data. The Patient Simulation Technician will perform duties in a high volume student contact environment while demonstrating excellent customer service skills at all times. The position may require availability to work flexible hours, including some early mornings, weekends, evenings, and special events. This position is located on the Warrington Campus and reports to the Education Director, Center for Patient Simulation Training.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate’s degree which includes courses designed for field computer support (A+, Network+, PC repair, or other similar course work) OR graduation from high school or GED equivalency and two years of documented, verifiable experience supporting Windows-based microcomputers and software applications, and acceptable eyesight (with or without correction aid) are required. Further higher education may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. Successful results of a criminal background check are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer A+ and Network+ certification; medical or health care experience; patient simulation experience; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; and documented ability to work effectively in a team environment.
ANNUAL SALARY: $23,000.00 ($11.75/hour)
