Job Description
Reports to the Medical Simulation Center Director. Manages the day-to-day operations and provides oversight of the Medical Simulation Center; including supervision and coordination of personnel, building supplies, all center equipment operation and maintenance; as well as simulation and event space scheduling.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in a healthcare field, information technology, theater/film production or business administration.
• Combination of education, training and/or experience which can be demonstrated to result in possession of the qualifications necessary to perform the duties of this position.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in healthcare field preferred; or combination of education and relevant experience.
Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialists (CHSOS) or Certified Healthcare Simulation Educators (CHSE) by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare highly encouraged to apply.
Physical Demands
• Must be able to sit for at least 4 hours at a time.
• Must be able to stand for up to 5 hours per day.
• Must be able to walk 3 hours per day.
• Must be able to hear as it relates to normal conversation.
• Must be able to see corrected or uncorrected as it relates to general and near vision.
• Must be able to lift, move or push up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Must be able to carry up to 40 pounds without assistance.
