Executive Director Interprofessional Simulation Center

|The Executive Director provides oversight and direction for the Belmont Simulation Center providing leadership to a high-performing team of individuals dedicated to providing state of the art interprofessional simulation-based learning for learners from multiple professions.
This position reports directly to the Vice Provost for Research and Strategic Initiatives and works with various stakeholders across the university and community, leading and supporting strategic initiatives focused on simulation and educational innovation related to simulation.

|Required Education||• A terminal degree in a clinical, educational, or scientific field preferred. A masters prepared candidate may be considered with substantial experience. • Certification from the Society of Simulation for Healthcare as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE); CHSE-A preferred.|
|Required Experience||• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in clinical education using simulation-based education. • Requires a minimum of 3 years of leadership in a clinical simulation environment working within an academic institution or healthcare institution working with clinical disciplines (nursing, medicine, pharmacy, and/or other health related fields, etc.).|
