Bio | Meredith obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1999. Meredith obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2019 and completed a Master of Science Nursing Education 2020 from Western Governorโs University. Meredith completed her DNP in 2024 from Post University. Her doctoral work focused on the impact of high-fidelity simulation on the attitudes of nursing students towards care of the dying. In 2021, she transitioned from nursing practice to the academic nurse educator role. Meredith is currently at Johnson& Wales University as Assistant Professor & Simulation Lab Manager for the nursing program. She is a Certified Nurse Educator, Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nurses. Meredith is a member of the ASCEND program sponsored by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Meredith is a member of the steering committee for the North Carolina Nurses Association simulation Council. |
