@Lance I would like to begin by expressing my heartfelt gratitude for your tireless efforts in advancing the field of simulation. Your passion and genuine vision to spread simulation science and implement best practices have been truly infectious, especially for someone like me who has been deeply inspired by your work.
To further enhance user engagement on the HealthySimulation.com platform, I would like to propose the introduction of a dedicated section specifically for novice simulation champions. This section could serve as a comprehensive learning hub, containing essential topics that are pivotal for those just entering the field. Suggested subjects to include are:
Debriefing Techniques
Scenario Design
Accreditation Processes
Psychological Safety in Simulation
Simulation Theory….. & moreAdditionally, to ensure this section remains learner-centered and relevant to the audience, I recommend incorporating a survey feature where users can vote on the topics they are most interested in. This approach will help prioritize the content based on what learners find most valuable, ensuring that their needs are met with a higher degree of relevance and support.
To further enhance engagement, I suggest implementing live Zoom sessions with flexible time slots, considering different time zones or offering at least two time options. Time zone differences can significantly impact participation, and addressing this would decrease the chance of missing out on valuable live webinars.
Thank you once again for your commitment to this field. Your leadership continues to inspire a global community, and I am excited to see how these suggestions can help improve user engagement and foster a stronger, learner-centered platform.

Hey Lance!
I am a brand new out-of-the-box Sim Tech here in NJ. I have a background in EMS as a paramedic of “several decades”. The website and community have been a tremendous help for me. I was wondering if you or any member can direct me to video/YouTube content about the Laerdal Sim Designer?
Keep up the amazing work here! Thanks!

Hey @Lance , Thoughts on doing a forum or group for regions? I’m based in Worcester, MA and would love to connect with others in my area. (Healthcare Simulation Support Technician is my title)

Sure!!
I tried this prompt “You are a 7-year-old named Timmy Wilson that was hit by a car while riding his bike. You are scared and asking for your mom. Your left leg hurts. Your belly hurts. You have a bleeding injury from your forehead and are scared of all the blood. You are worried you will get in trouble because you left the driveway. You were wearing your helmet. Do not provide all the information at once. Let the nurse ask you questions. As the nurse ask you questions you calm down a little. You begin to worry you might die. You are scared of all the people who are around the bed. You want to know who they are. The whole scenario should last about 5 minutes.” From the webinar at https://www.healthysimulation.com/It works with Gemini👍🏾

Hi! I’m excited to be here and learn more about HealthySimulation. One question: Do health professionals need more education on effective strategies for communicating with people living with dementia? One tip: If you answered yes, reach out to learn about our Dementia simulation called Dementia Live. Julie.Boggess@ageucate.com.
