• Has anyone received the CHSOS-A certification? If so, what did you use for your exemplar?

      • Hello, Jessica,

I have my CHSOS-A. I used my research study involvement as my exemplar making direct links back to my Simulation Specific CV. On my Simulation Specific CV, I detailed exactly what my roles were in each research project and how that work translated to me as an OS operating at an “Advanced” OS level. I hope this small example inspired more brainstorming for you. If not, let me know how else I can help.

        • Thank you! This helps. I am really bad at putting to words what I do. I can make a user guide or SOP for anything but writing about myself, nope.

          • @Jessica , although I have not completed my CHSOS-A yet (hoping to apply this year), you can use many items for your exemplar, including a created policy, an innovative task trainer, or an implemented training. Like Ronald highlights in his example, tying the exemplar to your simulation-specific CV.
Additionally, I suggest choosing one activity, creation, or implementation. The “Suggested Evidence of Performance at the CHSOS® and CHSOS-A Levels for the Certification Standards and Elements” is a great resource. Using the phrase “as evidence by…..” might help you write about your roles and responsibilities.
