New Jersey SimWARS Competition Event November 5th Still Taking Team Signups!
Just received word from Samantha Singh, Director of the Regional Perinatal Simulation Center at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, about the upcoming Northeastern Interprofessional SimWARS™ Competition. In this high-energy, competitive tournament, successful teams must work together to solve problems in a simulated high-pressure environment. Valuable feedback will be provided by an objective panel of expert debriefers who will assess team performances before an audience of peers casting their votes for the winning team.
This competition is open to states in the Northeastern Region, we are looking for Interprofessional teams of four to compete against friends and associates in this fun hands-on learning experience. Teams will compete against each other in short, hi-fidelity scenarios, with the winning teams advancing. The final two teams will face off in the grand finale on the morning of the simulation/education Symposium being held at Saint Barnabas Medical Center on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Following the SimWARS™ Competition, experts will discuss the use of simulation in healthcare education.
