May Hands-On Mold Making Moulage Workshop in MA
Smooth-On and Reynolds Advanced Materials are offering a hands-on mold making workshop specific to medical simulation. In case you haven’t heard of them, Smooth-On manufactures materials for mold making and casting such as silicone, urethanes and epoxies while Reynolds is their national distributor. This full day event located just outside of Boston, is structured to teach attendees how to use material to create realistic, reusable simulation devices in a cost effective manner. Technicians and other simulation personnel who attend this workshop will make realistic suture pads, moulage molds, receive an introduction to lifecasting etc. This workshop will also demonstrate how to create suturable vessels, needle insertion pads, and apply moulage to a mannequin.

Lance’s background also includes serving as a Simulation Technology Specialist for the LA Community College District, EMS fire fighting, Hollywood movie production, rescue diving, and global travel. He lives with his wife Abigail in Las Vegas, Nevada.
