"Rescue Me" Sim Workshop Oct. 25th in San Francisco

Exclusive Sim Workshop!

Nigel Chong BN, RN – Manager of National Simulation Operations & Development, University of Tasmania
Glen Williams BN, RN – Manager of Training & Educational Services, Calvary Health Care Tasmania

Keynote speaker at the 2011 Magic in Teaching/Simulation Conference (MIT), Nigel Chong BN, RN, and presenter at MIT, Glen Williams BN, RN, are bringing their dynamic and unique approach to nursing education to the Bay Area. Their “Rescue Me” Simulation Workshop will have the participant explore why clinicians fail to rescue. Participants will learn how to identify the obstacles in their organizations that contribute to the fail-to-rescue culture. They will then identify solutions and techniques to meet this dilemma by using simulation, as well as the importance of having a reality, not just a skills, approach to the scenarios. This course is very hands-on, participant-involved, and will utilize a 3G simulator, defibrillator and more.
