Simulation Center Specialist

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance for all simulation operations, including, but not limited to programming, operating, maintaining, and repairing all simulation equipment and audio-visual systems.

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field preferred; A High School Diploma is required
  • Teaching experience in health professions and experience with healthcare simulation technology
  • CHSOS – Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist preferred
  • Two years of experience in computer use, set up, trouble shooting, and maintenance repair of technology equipment and mannequins
  • Experience with multimedia equipment and digital audiovisual technology and production
  • The ability to improvise and adapt to highly dynamic environments and learn new skills
  • The ability to act in accordance with AHS and simulation center policies and procedures and enforce them when necessary
  • The ability to act in an appropriate and professional manner as defined by the company’s Standards of Behavior, Policy and Procedures, and Scope of Services
  • Correct business English, including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Current office administrative practices and procedures
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals from various socioeconomic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Skill in creating and coordinating complex schedules, activities, and events
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of relevant information technology to include software and hardware used to run a simulation center
